Brad Kozak is a fifth-generation professional musician. He is also a graphic designer, marketer, writer, composer, arranger, orchestrator, humorist, blogger, inventor, woodworker, entrepreneur, husband and father.

bk-toonHe is the founder, principal, and creative director of grokmedia, an Amarillo-based marketing/advertising/graphic design agency. He is also the founder of guitarfurniture.com, makers of fine furniture for guitars and other musical instruments.

He began his musical career at the tender age of four, playing drums in a kindergarten talent contest. He turned pro at 15, and has worked as a teacher, a session musician, sideman, leader, soloist, composer and arranger for a wide variety of clients. He has worked as a sideman with such luminaries as Gladys Knight and the Pips, Barry White and the Love Unlimited Orchestra, Bob Newheart, David Brenner, Rober Guillame, Frankie Layne, Frieda Payne, Pat Boone, and André Crouch. He has jammed with aclaimed jazz, rock, and blues musicians such as George Benson and Ray Brown as well as musicans that have toured with rock legends Pink Floyd, Supertramp and Toto.

He has performed with symphony orchestras and worked every kind of gig from recording sessions and pageants and private parties. In addition to his singer/songwriter work on the acoustic guitar, he's also a drummer, vibist, and percussionist. He counts his father, Eddy Kozak as well as Gary Burton, Cal Tjader, Stan Kenton, Bill Evans, Donald Fagen, and Oscar Peterson as musical influences. Brad lives in Amarillo, Texas with his wife, Elizabeth, and his daughter, Phoebe, a budding musical prodigy in her own right.
